History

Lime Daisy was born December 18, 2004, for the longest time after I bought Lime Daisy I couldn't think of what Lime Daisy should be or represent. I had only had InuYasha @ Lime Daisy.com, a game help site for the InuYasha and the Secret of the Cursed Mask game. It turned into a graphic site but it was also turning into something more obnoxious and I didn't want to deal with it anymore so I shut it down and moved the graphics to Lime Daisy and made Lime Daisy a graphics, tutorial, hosting and help site.

Since then Lime Daisy has grown immensely and has become home to over 25 hosted sites. With more tutorials, graphics and ideas pending, Lime Daisy will hopefully be around for quite a long time.

Past Layouts

Version 2 features a CG art from Boyis It was one of my first table layouts and one of the fist layouts I had used Adobe Photoshop on. It look simple but it is still a favorite of mine because of the sentimental value; being the first "real" layout for Lime Daisy and also having it be a table layout as well.

Version 3, "Lush of Jade" was given to me by HazelyN a dear friend of mine. I wanted a new layout for Lime Daisy and considered having a contest for it but I wasn't able to think of a decent prize I could give as reward. So HazelyN made this layout featuring Kenshin. I switched from a table format to a Div format, I was glad for the openness of the layout and I still love it. Thank you so much HazleyN!

Version 4, a big site filled with peach and orange! I made my first brush out of a picture of a flower and adding some textures to it. Again another Div layout and a lot of fun as well as bright.

Version 5, Allied Rivals, featuring Roy Mustang and Edward Elric from Full Metal Alchemist. This has to be one of the more complicated table layouts I've ever created. It wasn't that it was difficult to create, it was something new and had a lot more detail to it. One thing I did find with detail is that it's a lot of hard work to maintain and keep consistent. I often found myself slacking in maintenance when it came to this layout.

Version 6, Green Aggregation, image found from DeviantART. When I saw this image I knew it was for Lime Daisy, it was already green and to me was beautiful. With a few modifications I changed the previous layout to the new one and tried to make it a little more low maintenance. This layout was up for quite a long while and a definite favorite.

Version 7, This layout was given to me by the wonderful Wendy! It features Athrun Zala, one of my favorite characters from Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny. I absolutely loved the image! Again the site went through a different look, instead of having two navigation bars it had one. A lot less overwhelming and also left a lot of room to work with. Thanks so much Wendy!

Version 8, "Flamingos" This layout was really when I started using photos of my own. I had taken this picture at the Denver Zoo my Junior year in high school for photography class. The picture was originally in black and white but we were assigned to color it with a type of photo paint. I hand painted the flamingos different colors giving it a fell for lollipops as if they were in Willy Wanka's factory where everything was made of candy. The brushes also used in it were created by me as well. My first attempt in making brushes and I really wanted a film style one, so I made it

Version 9, "Denver: 5280 Feet" This is an image of people walking around 16th Street in downtown Denver. 16th Street in Denver is a "mall" so to speak, it has shopping and exciting events that occure there, such as New Years Fire works! The layout is called 5,280 Feet (1.6KM), Denver is exactly one mile above sea level, also issuing the city the nick name of, "The Mile High City." I really love this layout, again the image was taken by myself and the whole days was quite adventurous. The other images in the lower part of the layout were also taken that day downtow. You can see another image featured in my guestbook
